Clone Template

VirtualProg allows you to clone an existing template to create a new one with identical configuration and structure. This feature is especially useful when you want to create similar virtual machines from a base configuration.

🧭 How to Access

You can open the Clone Template dialog by:

  • Right-clicking a template in the Templates window
  • Selecting Clone from the context menu

📝 Dialog Options

Name

Enter a new name for the cloned template. This name will appear in the Templates list.

Notes

Optionally add any comments or additional information relevant to the cloned template.

💡 Notes

  • The cloned template retains all settings from the original.
  • You can edit the cloned template's configuration and metadata after creation.
  • Cloned templates can be used to quickly generate new virtual machines.
