Network Settings

Configure virtual networking for your virtual machine.

Fields

  • Source: This dropdown allows you to select the type of network connection:

    • Default (NAT): The virtual machine shares the host's internet connection through NAT (Network Address Translation).
    • Bridged: Connects the virtual machine to a physical network interface on the host, giving it direct access to the local network.

  • MAC Address: This field displays the virtual network adapter’s MAC address. You can manually edit it or click the ↻ regenerate button to generate a new unique MAC address automatically.

These settings are useful for controlling how the virtual machine accesses the network and communicates with other devices on the host network or internet.
