đŸ“‚ Import Virtual Machine

To import a virtual machine into VirtualProg, double-click the virtual machine file in Findere (i.e., a file with the .vpvm extension). This will open the import window shown below.

đŸ’¡ Note: If the selected virtual machine is already present in the VirtualProg library, it will not be re-imported—instead, the VM will launch automatically.

Import Window Features

  • File Path Display
    The full path of the selected .vpvm file is displayed at the top of the window.

  • Import Button
    Click Import to add the virtual machine to your library.

  • Cancel Button
    Click Cancel to close the window without importing.

Important

  • If a virtual machine with the same name already exists in your library, an error message will appear, and the import will be cancelled to prevent duplicates.

Tip

Make sure the virtual machine file you want to import is not already in your library to avoid conflicts.
